NeetoRecord lets you pause any recording on a precise frame and download it as a PNG or JPEG image. You can step through the video by individual frames or by full seconds to land on exactly the right moment.
Capturing a screenshot on the recording page
Open a recording in your workspace and select Screenshot at timestamp from the header menu. The video pauses and the frame capture bar appears at the top of the player.
Capturing a screenshot on the public watch page
On the public watch page, click the Take a screenshot button in the action bar beneath the player. This button is only shown when screenshot downloads are enabled for that recording.
Navigating to the right frame
The frame capture bar shows the instruction Pause on the frame you want, then download it. Use the navigation buttons to find the exact frame:
Click Back 1 second or press Shift+← to step backward by one second.
Click Forward 1 second or press Shift+→ to step forward by one second.
Click Back 1 frame or press ← to step backward by one frame.
Click Forward 1 frame or press → to step forward by one frame.
Downloading the frame
Select PNG or JPEG from the image format toggle in the bar.
Click Download frame. The image is saved to your device, named after the recording title and the current timestamp.
To exit without downloading, click the close button at the right edge of the bar.
Controlling screenshot access on the public watch page
The screenshot button on the public watch page is controlled by the Allow viewers to download screenshots setting. This can be managed globally for all recordings or overridden per recording.
Global default
Navigate to the Admin panel in your NeetoRecord dashboard.
Select Global viewer actions control.
Toggle Allow viewers to download screenshots of the recordings on or off.
Per-recording override
Open the specific recording.
Click the Configure tab and select Viewer actions control.
Enable Override the global settings for what viewers can do.
Toggle Allow viewers to download screenshots of this recording on or off.
