Automatic summary generation

NeetoRecord automatically generates a summary of your recording based on the context provided by the recording's transcript. The summary provides a quick overview of the recording’s content and is displayed below your video.

Automatic summaries will only be generated if a video has a transcript. They will not be generated for recordings without audio or speech.

Edit or Delete the summary

You can modify or remove the automatically generated summary by navigating to your recording and clicking the triple dot next to Summary as shown in the image.

Hide the summary for a specific recording

To hide the summary for a particular recording you have two options, either delete the summary completely or follow the steps below to hide it from viewers.

1. Go to the recording.

2. Click on the Settings tab on the top bar.

3. Click on the card Viewer actions control.

4. Toggle the setting Override the global settings for what viewers can do.

5. Disable the toggle Allow viewers to view summary of this recording.

   

Hide the summary for all your recordings

To hide the summary for all recordings across your workspace, follow the below steps.

1. Navigate to the Admin panel in your NeetoRecord dashboard.

2. Click on the card Global viewer actions control.

3. Disable the toggle Allow viewers to view the summary of the recordings. This setting will apply to all recordings in your workspace.
